“Struggle Within” makes its tension unmistakable, built from a clash of weighty dark forms and urgent bursts of orange, coral, and icy blue that seem to press against one another for space. The composition reads like an internal knot: thick, shadowed masses create a sense of containment, while lighter, sharper passages push outward, as if searching for release. Angular overlaps and abrupt transitions in color heighten the feeling of friction, moments of softness are immediately interrupted by harder edges, and warm tones flare up against the cool ground like emotion breaking through restraint. Even the curved, enclosing shapes suggest a body or psyche turned inward, holding opposing forces in a tight orbit.
